Accomplishments for 2000     (go back to Accomplishments)

• The first B.B.H.C. kids start riding buffalo runners.
• Blackfoot language skills taught by Shirlee Crow Shoe, head linguistic teacher for the Piegan Institute Nizipuhwahsin Total Immersion School.
• Horses traded with St Labre Youth and Family Services, to help with the growth of Northern Cheyenne and Crow buffalo runner herds and to return them to our Horse Nations. (The hoop will mend.)
• A movie crew from Germany filmed horses and kids for a TV documentary.
• A French film crew visited the ranch to film the buffalo runners.
• Fifteen buffalo runners were "gentle-trained".
