Accomplishments for 1999

- Lease option negotiated to purchase 633 acre ranch with room for the
horses, kids, and B.B.H.C. to grow. A large donation facilitates the
relocation. Six miles of fencing is repaired, and three herds of horses,
each with a stallion and many pregnant mares, are successfully transferred.
- Discussions start with St. Labre Youth and Family Services to start a
similar buffalo horse program for Northern Cheyenne and Crow youth. Eight
mares and three geldings are leased to start their program.
- Bob Black Bull contracted with the Browning Middle School to work as
artist-in-residence, teaching jewelry-making.
- Many volunteers spend many hours helping out at the ranch.
- Traditional crafts made for the first International Traditional Games
festival.
